Experiencing Nausea After Taking Lorazepam

4/1/2026, 4:34:28 AMMale25-34

I am a 32-year-old male, standing 5'4" and weighing around 150 pounds, leading a generally healthy lifestyle without any smoking or drug consumption. Recently, I took two lorazepam tablets on an empty stomach prior to a dental treatment. Shortly after, I started to feel disoriented, and within an hour, I began to vomit. Now, twelve hours later, I still feel quite ill. Although I am less dizzy, the vomiting persists; I estimate that I have regained my stomach contents about 8 to 10 times since. I can’t recall the exact dosage of the pills, but going to obtain more will likely result in an additional expense for me. It's disheartening to have broken a 24-year record of not throwing up. 😔 *Note: When posting, please ensure you include your age at a minimum.

Unexpected Visitor: A Bat's Adventure in My Home

Earlier today, a bat unexpectedly made its entrance through my chimney. It navigated its way through the flue and transformed my living space into its temporary playground, darting around for approximately 20 minutes before returning through the chimney. While I believe there was no direct contact, I found myself frantically wielding a broom in an attempt to usher it outside, a move I've since learned isn't advisable. Given the circumstances, should I consider getting a rabies vaccination as a safety measure? I am a 36-year-old male, standing 5'9" tall and weighing 180 pounds, with no current medications or health issues. My wife was present during the incident but eventually retreated to a room, shutting the door and allowing me to deal with the chaos alone.

Confusing Health Concerns and New Medications

At 19 years old and identifying as FTM (female-to-male), I've been administering subcutaneous testosterone injections for a year now, initially starting with 0.25 ml and recently increasing to 0.3 ml over the last three weeks. Prior to this treatment, I had a history of complex health issues. Just yesterday, I began a new medication, Cymbalta, at a dosage of 40 mg. Additionally, I've been taking an 18 mg dose of another medication. Despite my ongoing treatments, I’m finding it challenging to connect the various symptoms I’m experiencing to any specific health conditions.

Encounter with a Bat in the House

A bat unexpectedly made its way into my home via the chimney. It navigated through the flue and spent approximately twenty minutes flitting around the interior before retreating back out the same route. While I believe I wasn’t directly in contact with the creature, I was attempting to guide it outside using a broom—an action I now realize was not advisable. Should I consider receiving a rabies vaccination as a preventive measure? For context, I’m a 36-year-old male, standing at 5'9" and weighing 180 pounds, with no current medications or underlying health issues. My wife was present during this episode but chose to retreat to a room, firmly closing the door and allowing me to manage the situation alone.
